Educational Qualification:
1. Fireman - (1) Pass in SSLC. (2) (a) Minimum four to six months training in Fire Fighting from a State Fire Force or Public Sector Undertaking or a Government recognised course from a reputed institute or (b) Certificate in Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence and Damage Control (NBCD), including fire fighting on-board ships from Armed Forces/Recognised Institutions. (3) Knowledge in Malayalam is desirable + Minimum six months experience in fire fighting in State Fire Force or in a large Industrial Undertaking or in the Armed Forces or in Public Sector Undertakings or in Private Companies. The duties include fire surveillance/ fire fighting activities in confined spaces of vessels under construction.
2. Safety Assistant - Pass in SSLC. (2) One year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety from a Government recognized institute or Public Sector Undertaking + Minimum one year training or experience in safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory
Age Limit: (As on 24.09.2017)
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 30 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Pay Scale:
1. Fireman - Rs.17, 400/-pm Grade Pay 4200/-
2. Safety Assistant - Rs. 18, 400/-pm Grade Pay 4400/-
