Educational Qualifications & Experience:
Ph.D in Chemistry with Research experience in the area of Rare earths extraction and
separation; rare earth based inorganic colorants/coatings;IR reflective inorganic pigments/coatings; rare
earth based light emitting materials. The applicant should have strong knowledge base and evidences in
terms of International journal publications and patents in the above areas.
Job requirement
The applicant has to give advises to the ongoing Rare Earth project in general and more specifically to
develop processes for IR reflecting inorganic pigments/coatings and transfer of technologies to industry.

Age Limit : 62 years (as on 11.09.2015 )
Consolidated Fee : Rs.40,000/- per month
General Condition
Appointment as a Consultant will be initially for a period of one year, extendable based on
performance evaluation and co-terminus with the programme, subject to a maximum period of two
years. The Consultancy does not entitle the concerned person to any claim of any type of
Government and/or CSIR service.
