Kerala State Biodiversity Board

Applications are invited for five Doctoral and one Post Doctoral Fellowships from eligible candidates who wish to do research in specific areas of conservation of Biodiversity in Kerala.

The topics intended are
  Documenting Marine Biodiversity
  Bio prospecting
 Developing propagation protocols for notified threatened taxa
  Study on Clams of Kerala.

Eligibility :

Doctoral Fellowship - M.Sc. in life sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks from a University recognized by UGC. Candidates having NET qualification or M.Phil. with research experience in biodiversity conservation will be given preference.

Post Doctoral Fellowship - PhD in Life Sciences focusing on Biodiversity Conservation from any University recognized by UGC as evidenced by publication.

As the research works are specifically intended for the Kerala region, proficiency in Malayalam language and communication skill will be essential requirements.

KERALA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for post of Project Fellow on temporary basis for 3 years on the Western Ghat Development Project under this station, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned below.

Educational Qualifications:  MSc Agriculture / MSc Life Science /MSc Chemistry / MSc Biochemistry

Consolidated Pay:Rs.12000/per month

Terms and Conditions: 

1. Application is restricted to Permanent residents of Kollam District only.

 2. The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of three years or till the termination of project whichever is earlier. The candidates will have no right in the University other than to receive emoluments attached to the post. 

3. Reservation and age limit- as per Govt. rules.
