Detailed Information

Design & Development of an Indigenous Color Doppler Ultrasound scanner with PNDT Compliance

Funded by  :  Medical Electronics Division and Health Informatics (ME & HI), Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

Color Doppler Ultrasound scanner is a complex Digital Signal Processing system and development work involves designing of system hardware, Digital Signal Processing algorithm implementations in FPGA and Image processing algorithms implementations in C/C++/Embedded C.

Task/Activity: FPGA based Digital signal Processing System Design, Board bring up, board support package and test jig development. FPGA implementation of Signal processing Algorithms, RTOS porting and application software development, Driver bring up and GUI development, System Integration and Testing. Prototype development, Packaging and total System development for PNDT Compliance.

1. A) Project Engineer  (3) 
2. B) Sr Project Engineer (2)

SALARY/ REMUNERATION:

Project Engineer  :      Rs 18000/- to Rs 25000/- ( Depending on qualification & experience)

Sr Project Engineer  :  Rs  25000/- to  Rs 30000/-( Depending on qualification & experience)

Project Engineer       :  Candidates with no experience , but having high academic  records can apply

Essential Qualification: First Class in B.E/B.Tech /or equivalent  in Electronics/ Electronics &Communication/ Bio-Medical Engineering/ Medical Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science and allied branches/MSc in Electronics

Sr Project Engineer  :  Preferably Minimum one to two years of relevant experience

and   above. However the same may be relaxed in deserving cases.

Essential Qualification: First Class in M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics stream with B.E/ B.Tech /or equivalent  in Electronics/ Electronics &Communication/ Bio-Medical Engineering/ Medical Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science and allied branches

Preferable: Experience in Electronic System Design and manufacturing, RTL Coding using Verilog /VHDL, FPGA Architecture knowledge, porting Signal processing algorithms on FPGA, Knowledge in PCIe protocol. Knowledge in RTOS, Database and network/Communication protocols.  Domain knowledge in Digital Signal and Image processing.

Expected skill set : Should have inclination in electronic design , R&D , product development or relevant product design /development exposure in industry.  Ability to carry out design, implementation, working in group with very good communication skills.

DURATION:

Initially for 1 Year (Extendable up to entire Project Duration)

SELECTION PROCESS:
