TN TRB Recruitment 2025
The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu is inviting online applications for 132 vacancies for Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. Candidates with a Master's Degree, LLM, or Ph.D. are eligible to apply. The online application process opens on 3rd March 2025 and closes on 18th March 2025. - Examination Fee for all candidates: Rs. 600/-
- Examination Fee for SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled persons: Rs. 300/-
- Payment Mode: Online payment only via the Payment Gateway (Net banking / Credit Card / Debit Card)

- Notification Date: 24th January 2025
- Start Date for Online Application: 31st January 2025
- Last Date for Online Application: 18th March 2025
- Tentative Exam Date (OMR Based): From 11th May 2025 onwards
Age Limit (as of 01-07-2025)
- For Associate Professor: 45 years
- For Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): 40 years
- Age relaxation applies as per rules.
Qualification
Associate Professor:
- Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized university, and a good academic record.
- Ph.D. Degree in Law (for those who passed Master's Degree before 19th September 1991) with at least 50% marks in Master’s Degree.
Assistant Professor:
- M.A. Degree in any subject from universities in Tamil Nadu or its equivalent with at least 55% marks and a good academic record.
Selection Procedure
- Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test
- Written Examination
- Research Score Evaluation (only for Associate Professors)
- Verification of Original Documets followed by an Interview
