DRDO RAC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications for DRDO RAC Project Scientist 2025:

1. Project Scientist ‘F’ (Computer Science & Engineering):

   • Essential:
     • First Class B.E/B.Tech in a relevant field from a recognized university or equivalent.
     • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and developing application software using scripting languages like Python, Perl/Bash, and programming languages like C/C++.
   • Desirable:
     • Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.
     • 3+ years of project management experience.
     • Experience in the development of software for airborne/space systems.
     • Knowledge in networking infrastructure and encryptor interfacing.

2. Project Scientist ‘D’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering):

   • Essential:
     • First Class B.E/B.Tech in a relevant field from a recognized university or equivalent.
     • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and testing of Electronics/RF systems and subsystems.
     • Experience with test equipment like signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
   • Desirable:
     • Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.
     • Experience in small satellite subsystems design, integration, and testing.
     • Knowledge of signal processing algorithms using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

3. Project Scientist ‘C’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering):

   • Essential:
     • First Class B.E/B.Tech in a relevant field from a recognized university or equivalent.
     • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing Electronics/RF systems and subsystems.
   • Desirable:
     • Experience with test equipment like signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
     • Experience in assembly, integration, and testing of digital/RF/communication systems.
     • Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK programming.

4. Project Scientist ‘B’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering):

   • Essential:
     • First Class B.E/B.Tech in a relevant field from a recognized university or equivalent.
   • Desirable:
     • Valid GATE Score.

Age Limit (as of 1st April 2025, 04:00 PM):

1. Project Scientist ‘F’: Not exceeding 55 years
2. Project Scientist ‘D’: Not exceeding 45 years
3. Project Scientist ‘C’: Not exceeding 40 years
4. Project Scientist ‘B’: Not exceeding 35 years

Age Relaxation:

• PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy

Pay Scale for DRDO RAC Project Scientist 2025:

1. Project Scientist ‘F’: Rs. 2,20,717/- per month
2. Project Scientist ‘D’: Rs. 1,24,612/- per month
3. Project Scientist ‘C’: Rs. 1,08,073/- per month
4. Project Scientist ‘B’: Rs. 90,789/- per month
