ITBP Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Group C (Sports Person): 10th Pass
Sports Qualification:
- Individual Event (International/National): Athletes who have participated in or won medals in any International Sports event recognized by the International Olympic Association as part of the Indian Team, or have won medals in National Games or Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association Sports Federation, Youth/Junior National Championships held from 03/04/2023 to 02/04/2025.
- Team Event (International/National): Athletes who have won medals in National Games/National Championships (Junior & Senior), recognized by respective Federations/Associations under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or the Indian Olympic Association, while representing State/UT/Sports Control Boards, and are playing members of the team. Medals won in international competitions are exempt from this requirement.
Age Limit for ITBP Sports Person 2025:
- Group C (Sports Person): 18 to 23 years (as of 02.04.2025)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST applicants: 5 years
- OBC applicants: 3 years
Pay Scale for ITBP Sports Person 2025:
- Group C (Sports Person): Level 3, Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100/-
