NPCIL Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Scientific Assistant – B:
   • Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or 12th + 2 years Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution.
   • For specific disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science), a minimum of 60% marks is required.
2. Category – I: Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA):
   • Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks in the relevant discipline.
   • For Health Physics, a BSc with Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science as a subsidiary subject is required with 60% marks.
3. Category – II: Stipendiary Trainee/ Technician (ST/Technician):
   • SSC (10th) with 50% marks in Science and Mathematics, plus a 2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
4. Assistant Grade – 1 (HR), (F&A), (C&MM):
   • HSC (12th) with at least 50% marks in Science, or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
5. Nurse – A:
   • HSC (10+2) + Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery or a Nursing Degree, with valid registration as a Nurse.
6. Technician/C (X-Ray Technician):
   • HSC in Science with 60% marks + 1-year Medical Radiography/ X-Ray Certificate and 2 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit (as of 01.04.2025):

1. Scientific Assistant – B – 18 to 30 years
2. Category – I: Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – 18 to 25 years
3. Category – II: Stipendiary Trainee/ Technician (ST/Technician) – 18 to 24 years
4. Assistant Grade – 1 (HR), (F&A), (C&MM) – 21 to 28 years
5. Nurse – A – 18 to 30 years
6. Technician/C (X-Ray Technician) – 18 to 25 years

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

• For SC/ST: 5 years
• For OBC: 3 years
• For PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
• For PwBD (SC/ST): 13 years
• For PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• For Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy

Selection Method:

1. Scientific Assistant – B, Category – I (ST/SA) – Online Examination + Personal Interview
2. Category – II (ST/Technician) – Online Examination + (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test)
3. Assistant Grade – 1 (HR), (F&A), (C&MM) – Online Examination + Skill Test
4. Nurse – A – Online Examination + Skill Test
