IIITM-K invites the applications from suitable candidates for the post of Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Senior Project Associates, Project Associates, Senior Android Developer, Junior Android Developer, under various Agricultural Informatics projects of the institute. The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of one year.

1. Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Job Code No: SSE-01/2015-16 (Experience – 7+ years) No. of posts : 2 (Pest Surveillance Project – 1, Coffee Board Project -1) 

Essential Qualification : First Class B.Tech/ MSc Comp.S/ MCA/ MSC-IT/ with minimum seven years of solid working experience in the design and development of web applications in Java/J2EE /MySQL/XML environment. 

Salary : Rs. 40,000 per month (Consolidated) 

Experience: The candidate should have minimum seven years of solid working experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE. Preference will be given the candidates who worked in framework like J2EE, Struts or Spring etc.

Technical Skill Set Required 

• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ Struts) 

• Familiar with the Eclipse IDE Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system 

• Common Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) 

• Experience of development using web technologies Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns 

• Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax 

• Strong Knowledge with Eclipse

 • Strong Knowledge in using version control (e.g. SVN)

2. Software Engineer (Java) – (Experience 5+ years) 

Job Code No: SE-02/2015-16 No. of Posts – 2 (PLANSPACE Project) 

Essential Qualification : First Class B.Tech/ MSc Comp.S/ MCA/ MSC-IT/ with minimum five years of solid experience in developing web applications in Java/J2EE /MySQL/XML environment. Salary : Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated) Experience: The candidate should have minimum five years of solid experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE. Preference will be given the candidates who worked in framework like J2EE, Struts or Spring etc.

Essential Qualification : First class BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSC- Comp. Science/Msc Electronics/ msc Soft Engg/ MSc-IT/with minimum 4 years of solid experience in developing web applications in Java/J2EE/MySQL/XML environment. 

Salary : Rs. 24,000 per month (Consolidated) 

Experience: minimum four years of solid experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE. 

• Strong knowledge on OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ Struts)

Salary : Rs. 22,000 per month (Consolidated) 

Essential Qualification : Masters in Fine Arts/ Batchlers Degree in Fine Arts with minimum 7 years of experience in Graphic designing, web designing and. Strong knowledge on photoshop , CorelDraw

5. Project Associate (Java) (Experience 1+ years) Job Code No : PA-05/2015-16

 No. of posts : 2 (Cocount barcode traceability project-1, KASMOS VDP- 1) 

Essential Qualification : First class B.Tech/MSc Comp.Science/ MCA/ MSC-IT/ MSC CS/MSc GIS with one year experience in developing web applications in Java/J2EE /PHP/MySQL/XML environment. 

Salary : Rs. 15,000 per month (Consolidated) Experience: minimum one year of solid experience on developing web applications using Java/J2EE. Preference will be given the candidates who worked in framework like J2EE, Struts or Spring etc. 

6. Senior Android Developer (Experience 3-4 years) Job Code No : SAD-06/2015-16 No. of posts : 1 (KASMOS VDP- 1) 

Essential Qualification : First class B.Tech/MCA/MSc with 3-4 years of solid experience in developing and deployment of Android based applications. 

Salary : Rs. 24,000 per month (Consolidated) 

Experience: 3-4 years of solid experience on developing Android based applications.

Technical Skill Set Required 

• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME) and Android SDK 

• Familiar with the Eclipse IDE Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system 

• Common Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)

 • Experience of development using web technologies Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns 

• Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax is preferable 

• Experience building web and native apps Experience using social media API integration Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server 

• Strong Knowledge with Eclipse

7. Junior Android Developer Job Code No : JAD-07/2015-16 

No. of posts : 1 (SFNM –AES Project) 

Essential Qualification : First class B.Tech/MSc Comp.Science/ MCA/ MSC-IT with 2-3 years of solid experience in developing and deployment of Android based applications . 

Salary : Rs. 15,000 per month (Consolidated) Skills Required
