KERALA STATE BIODIVERSITY BOARD

Kerala State Biodiversity Board requires qualified persons for project implementation of the Board. The engagement will be purely project specific and temporary and only for six months. Details are mentioned below:

1. Project Coordinator (1 post)

Qualification : Post graduation in Life sciences, Ph D holders will be given preference

Desirable : Research experience in Fisheries projects. The selected person should have adequate knowledge in traditional and cultural information regarding marine biodiversity and ecosystem, traditional knowledge associated with natural reefs, marine bio resources, in depth knowledge about fisherman community.

Remuneration : Rs.25, 000/- (all inclusive)

Job involves collection of data in co-ordination with different people and agencies in the coastal region, collection of underwater details etc. for the preparation of MBR.

2. Data Analyst (Taxonomy) – 1 Post 

Age : Below 65 years 

Qualification :M.Sc. in Botany / Zoology, M.Phil

Desirable :   Taxonomy in life science, Research degree 

Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- (consolidated) per month

3. District Coordinator – 1 Post (Palakkad District)

Age : Below 65 years 

Qualification : Post graduation in Botany / Zoology / Social sciences

Experience :   Minimum 5 years experience in Biodiversity Conservation/ Taxonomy/ Nature education aspects/ Teaching Preference 

Remuneration : (Retd)Teachers/ Associate Professors Rs. 13,000/- Consolidated per month (Rs. 11,000/- as Honorarium + Rs. 2,000/- as Monthly Allowance)

4. Project Fellow – 1Post (Palakkad District)

Age : Below 35 years

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences /Environmental Science

Remuneration : Rs. 10,000/- Consolidated per month (Rs. 8,500/- as Honorarium + Rs. 1,500/- as Monthly Allowance)
