Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE)

Online applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment to the post of Associate Professor in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering departments in the Engineering Colleges under CAPE. Candidates shall apply online through the website NOTIFICATION www.capekerala.org on or before 20-07-2015. No other means/modes of application will be accepted.

Name of the Post – Associate Professor in ECE, EEE, CSE, ME and CE departments in the Engineering Colleges under CAPE.

Scale of Pay – Rs.37400-67000 + AGP of Rs.9000/-

Number of vacancies – 13(ECE – 4, EEE – 4, CSE – 2, ME – 1, CE – 2); The ranked list prepared pursuant to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of 1 year from the date on which it comes into force

Method of appointment – Direct Recruitment

Age limit – 45 Years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates as applicable in Govt

Qualification – (i) B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with First class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech. 

 (ii) Ph.D in appropriate discipline. 

(iii) Post Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D students is highly desirable.

Experience - Minimum of 5 years teaching/industrial/research experience at the level of Assistant Professor/Lecturer of which 2 years post Ph.D experience is desirable.
