A panel of Professional Assistants who are willing to work on daily wage basis at various University
departments, Centres and C.H.M.K Library is being prepared. Interested candidates possessing the
prescribed qualifications may submit their applications on line on or before 29.04.2015 at
www.universityofcalicut.info. The panel will be prepared after conducting interview.
Qualifications:
1.Graduation in any discipline from University of Calicut or from any other university
recognised by University of Calicut.
2.Graduate or post graduate degree in Library Science from University of
Calicut or from any other University recognised by University of Calicut. (Candidate will have to
produce equivalency certificate at the time of interview if their degree is from a University other than
University of Calicut)
Age: Should not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2015. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
categories are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.
Remuneration:Rs.400/- per day.
Professional Assistants currently engaged at various departments/centres of the University from the
existing panel of Professional Assistants need not apply.
