Eligible candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in-interview for the following post at Vizhinjam Research Centre of CMFRI, Vizhinjam P.O, Trivandrum on 4-5-2015 at 11am as per the details given below.

Name of the project : Emeritus Scientist scheme ‘Assessment and evaluation of the reproductive parameters essential for broodstock development and breeding of selected high value marine finfishes’

Name of the post:Senior Research Fellow

Place of posting:Vizhinjam

Nature and duration of post:On contract basis , the post is purely temporary for a period of two years and the service will end with the termination of the project

Age:The upper age limit shall be 35 years ( relaxation upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, women and 3 years for OBC applicants

Remuneration:Rs.16,000/- per month + HRA

Educational Qualifications:

Essential: M.F.Sc/ Masters degree in Marine Biology/Aquatic Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry from a recognised University

Desirable: Three years research experience in marine fisheries/mariculture

Candidates should bring the original documents in support of age, qualifications etc. for verification. Attested copies of certificates and a passport size photograph along with biodata should be submitted at the time of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
