Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala [IIITM-K], a postgraduate graduate educational institute established by the Government of Kerala under Electronic System Design and Management (ESDM) Project for Electronics Incubator Technology Innovation Zone, KINFRA High Tech Park, Kalamassery, Ernakulam District Cochin, is currently accepting application to fill the following temporary positions
1. Operations Officer
Job objective: Support the head of the Electronics Incubator in all operations activities relating to the management of the Center on a day-to-day basis. Specific tasks will include maintaining the operations plan, managing stores and suppliers, space and utilities. In addition, ensuring that incubatee companies are supported, and also vendors and partners offering various services and products, including facilities. Secondary tasks will include helping in incubate evaluations.
Qualifications: First class Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Management. Desirable experience in facilities management of 1-2 years. Familiarity with Microsoft Office required, Microsoft Project desirable.
Personal characteristics: Organized, good communicator, team player, leader.
Pay scale: Based on qualifications, equivalent to Grade PB-1
2. Marketing Officer
Job Description: Create branding and positioning of Incubator. Help Electronics incubator head in business development and creating ecosystem.
Specific tasks: Manage all outbound communications activities, including press relations interact with industry and academia, college outreach, creation of collateral materials including videos, manage website and social media presence. Make Incubator presence felt at trade shows and conferences. Reach out to innovation hubs and partners. Organize exhibitions & events. Secondary tasks will include assisting in creating business plan competitions and challenges.
Qualifications: Required a first class Bachelors’ Degree in Business or English. MBA (Marketing) desirable. Experience in marketing position of 1-2 years required.Preferance will be given to those having experience in Marketing of Technology based products or Services . Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and social media.
Personal characteristics: Excellent communication skills, able to transact business over the phone. Must be willing to travel periodically.

3. Finance Officer
Job Description: Support the Electronics incubator head in all aspects of finance, negotiation, and contracts. Specific tasks: Manager purchasing, including tenders. Create and follow budgets. Financial management including cash management. Provide audit and control function, with periodic reports to DeitY. Manage equity in incubates. Negotiate with partners and contractors. Create business model for the incubator. Create and manage business plan competitions and challenges. Secondary tasks will include assisting in creating operations plans.
Qualifications: Required a first class Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Commerce. MBA (Finance) desirable. Experience in finance position of minimum two years. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and Tally. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in public sector organizations
Personal characteristics: Good at creating and managing processes. Should be confident enough to present financial matters to senior managers.

4. Technical Officer
Job Description: Handle technology related matters at the Incubator. Assist Electronics incubator head in delivering core services and planning for development. Specific tasks: Manage the equipment for eCAD design and testing, as well as manage relations with partners running any part of the manufacturing process. Manage supply chain of stores and components, and advise on BOM. Support incubates in eCAD, PCB assembly and testing IoT and Robotics labs. Create software dashboard to monitor incubatee activity. Secondary tasks will include assisting in creating business plan competitions and challenges, handle IPR issues.
Qualifications: Required a first class Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering/Technology preference will be given to Electronics & communication/Applied Electronics. A diploma holder with equivalent experience will be considered. Experience in product design/R&D of 2 years required. Must be familiar with eCAD tools.
Personal characteristics: Good communication skills, able handle demanding customers and partners and provide good support. Initiative in identifying ways to improve operations.
Pay scale: Based on qualifications, equivalent to PB-1.Higher pay may be considered for candidate having more years of relevant experience and qualifications
All positions are on contract for a period of one year. The candidate selected will be posted at Cochin. However, he/she should work at Trivandrum as and when required.
