Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the selection of Technician
(contract basis) at the Astronomical Observatory, Observatory Hills, University of
Kerala, Vikas Bhavan P.O, Trivandrum on a consolidated remuneration of R 11,000/-
per month. Candidates possessing the required qualification and who are within the
prescribed age limit can apply for the above post. Applications shall be submitted online

Essential Qualifications :- First class Diploma in
Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable :- An Aptitude for Astronomy and Astro
Physics
Nature of Duty :- Operation and Maintenance of telescopes
Working Time :- 2.30PM to 8.30PM.
Age :- Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2015(relaxation as per the rules to SC/ST & OBC Candidates.)
