Centre for Research and Education for Social Transformation (CREST), an autonomous institution under Government of Kerala seeks one Woman Project Associate for the project Self-Enrichment Programme for high school and higher secondary school students that is being implemented in Model Residential Schools of SC Development Department, Kerala. The position is temporary and it requires extensive travel. Consolidated salary is Rs.20000/- per month

Qualification , Skills and Education Required: 

• Master’s degree from a university in Humanities /Social Sciences or in any other allied field

 • Experience of working with school-aged children , particularly from Scheduled communities

 • Public speaking skills and experience working in group settings

 • Experience working both independently and as an effective member of a team 

• Strong communication skills 

• Proficient with various software programs, including MS Office

 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 

. • Ability to work in a team atmosphere.

 • Ability to work independently 

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Organizing meetings , workshops , training programs and documentation and the implementation of procedures required to ensure accurate and timely reporting 

• Conducting need assessment studies, surveys and preparation of reports. 

• Liaise with schools , institutions in Kerala and outside

 • Ensuring student preparedness 

• Fostering continuous and open communications for student success.

 • Mentoring of students and students supervision 

• Must be available to work outside of regular office hours

 • Requires travel within and outside Kerala 

Selection will be on the basis of personal interview. The position will be purely temporary for three months likely to be extended.
