A walk-in interview to fill the post of Senior Research Fellow or Research Associate or Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant to join a time-bound research programme on “ Study on diversity and current status of fish and fisheries in GEF – Munnar landscape project area” will be held at 10.00 am onward on 13th January 2015, at KFRI. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original.
I. Senior Research Fellow or Research Associate or Junior Research Fellow (1)

(a) Name of post : Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate
Essential qualification : First class Masters Degree in Zoology / Wildlife with two year experience in relevant subject
Desirable : Ph.D. in fish and fisheries
Fellowship : Rs.15,000/- per month
(b) Name of post : Junior Research Fellow
Essential qualification : First class Masters Degree in Zoology / Wildlife
Desirable : Specialization in fish and fisheries
Fellowship : Rs.11,000/- + 10% HRA per month
In the absence of qualified candidate for Senior Research Fellow or Research Associate the post will be filled by Junior Research Fellow
II. Name of post : Project Assistant
No. of post : One
Essential qualification : First class Bachelors Degree in Zoology / Wildlife
Desirable : Work experience in field data collection
Fellowship : Rs.10,000/- per month
Duration : Up to 17 December 2015
Age : As on 01.01.2015 35 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
