                                            NOTIFICATION 

APEPDCL wishes to recruit the following:- 

GENERAL MANAGER – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – 1 POST 

The main responsibility will be in planning, developing and implementing ongoing and new IT initiatives of EPDCL, besides managing the existing IT hardware and software architecture and systems of the Company. EPDCL has extensive IT application involving ERP, SAP, GIS and other IT applications specific to the Electricity Sector. He/she must possess good communication, analytical and problem solving aptitude and 

an ability to inspire, and drive change in the IT department. The appointment will be for one year on contract basis, extendable on performance. He/She has to enter into an agreement with APEPDCL. 

QUALIFICATION : The suitable candidate will be an Engineering Graduate in  Computer Science or hold a Masters Degree in computer  Applications (M.C.A) 

EXPERIENCE: At least 10 years experience in managing ERP & MIS  applications in a reputed Company. Preference will be given  to experience in electricity sector. Cross country and Cross  Sector experience would be an advantage. 

Age: Around 40 years (age will be relaxed in case of experience and suitability) 

Remuneration: Emoluments Rs. 70,000/- (Negotiable as per experience) 

HRA: 20% of the Basic pay limited to Rs.8,000/- 

Conveyance: As applicable 

Annual Grade Increment: Rs.1,296/- (Rupees One thousand Two Hundred and Ninety  Six only) allowed on successful completion of One year contract  period 

Location : Corporate Office/Visakhapatnam 

Medical : Re-imbursement of Medical charges uptoRs.5,000/-  (Rupees five thousand only) per annum’
