Educational Qualification:

Junior Dietician - Postgraduate degree in Food and Nutrition or Food Service Management and Dietetics or Institutional Management and Dietetics from a recognized University or equivalent One year experience as a Dietician in a hospital or Medical Institute OR Degree in Home Science from a recognized University or equivalent Postgraduate diploma in dietetics from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent iii)Two years experience as a Dietician in a Hospital or Medical Institute.

Speech Therapist - i) B.Sc. Degree in Speech and Language Sciences OR ii) B.Sc. Degree in Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized University or its equivalent AND iii) Must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) iv) Two years working experience in a recognized institute/ hospital as Audiologist or Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Supervisor Laundry - Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University. ii) Experience in Dry Cleaning/Laundry Technology from organization of reputed Institute (one year).

Bio Medical Engineer - i) Degree in Bio Medical Engineering from a recognized University and ii)Two years experience in instrumentation focusing on practical problems preferably in hospital environment

Data Processing Assistant Grade - B - B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute; OR a) B.Sc. Computer Science/Information Technology/BCA b) With One year experience in Data Processing and Analysis.

Group - C Posts

Boiler Attendant - i. Matriculation from a recognized Board or Institute. ii. A certificate in operating boiler from a recognized Institute AND iii. Two years experience in operating boiler in a Laundry.

Orthodontic Technician - Higher Secondary Examination certificate or its equivalent ii) Completed Dental Technician course of two years duration from a recognized College/University The course should be approved by the Dental Council of India i) Experience of two years as Dental Mechanic/Technician. ii) Must be well experienced / trained in orthodontic appliances, removable prosthodontics, bridge work and denture work.

Pharmacist - i) Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) One year experience as Pharmacist. OR i) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institute ii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist

Uro Technician - Degree in Pharmacy from a reco) Diploma in Radiography/Radiographic Science (2 Years course) from a recognized Institution / University or equivalent and ii)Two years’ experience in operating ultrasound and C-arm image intensifier machines in a Hospital OR Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from a recognized University/Institution or Equivalent OR Degree in Allied Health Science in Urology (3 Years course) and One year experience in operating ultrasound and C-arm image intensifier machines in a Hospitanized University or equivalent. ii) One year experience as Pharmacist. OR i) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institute. ii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist

Age Limit: (As on 26.09.2018)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 35 Years, (For Post 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 - 30 Years), (For Post 6 - 27 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. 

JAWAHARLAL INSTITUTE OF POST-GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION & RESEARCH (JIPMER)

Applications are invited for the following position under DBT Research Grant: 

Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - One 

Project Title: ‘Platelet associated molecular targets for inflammation, vascular integrity, thrombocytopenia and disease severity in dengue infection’. 

Duration of project : 1 year 

Tenure: Period of 1 year (likely to be extended beyond 1 year based on satisfactory performance). The post is purely temporary in nature, co-terminus with the project. 

Educational Qualification: M.Sc or equivalent degree Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life sciences / Genetics /Medical biochemistry/ MLT/ with at least 60% marks and should have completed at least two years of post MSc research experience as on the last date of application, as evidenced from fellowship/ associate ship and NET qualified

OR 

BE/BTech/BPharm or equivalent degree in biotechnology with at least 60% marks and GATE qualified and two years research experience as on the last date of application. 

OR

 M Tech/ME or equivalent degree in Biotechnology with at least 60% marks. 

Experience: One year research experience in Molecular biology / Flow cytometry / Membrane lipid analysis. 

Candidates with experience in Proteomics techniques, Mass Spectroscopy, HPLC and biostatistics and manuscript writing will be given preference.

Documents in support of research experience (not below the undergraduate level) should be attached  

AGE LIMIT: 

The upper age limit is 33 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. 

Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, OBCs and physically handicapped on production of suitable certificates from the competent authority. Women candidates are also given age relaxation of five years. 

Stipend: Consolidated salary of Rs.18,000/- per month + 20% HRA as per DBT guidelines. 

Note: The SRF is expected to coordinate work between JIPMER and Central Inter- Disciplinary Research Facility (CIDRF), Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry

EMPLOYED CANDIDATES: This fellowship is held on a full time basis. Therefore simultaneous employment elsewhere is not permitted. However, those desirous of pursuing higher studies, but employed presently, whether temporary or permanent may apply with an undertaking that if selected, they will resign from the job before taking up the fellowship.
