Job description                        :    Cloning of viral genome, preparation of gene constructs,                                                      tissue culture and Plant transformation

Scale                                       :    Rs.12,000 (M.Sc degree) or Rs.16000/- (M.Sc + NET-JRF) or Rs.18000/- p.m (M.Sc (Ag) or M.Tech) p.m + HRA 20%

Upper age limit                       :    Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 01. 05.2016. Relaxation in age limit is admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

            Interested candidates may attend the Walk in Interview (written test & interview) at ICAR -CTCRI at 10.00 a.m. on 18.05.2016 along with their Biodata (furnishing name, permanent address, photograph affixed, and date of birth, qualification and experience) with attested copies of certificate and two testimonials. Original certificates should be produced at the time of interview.  No TA/DA shall be given for attending the interview. The post is for till September 2017 or co-terminus with the project, which ever is earlier.

Senior Research Fellow- One Salary Rs. 16,000/+ 20% HRA  Consolidated
Qualification:  M.Sc.  (Ag.) Entomology/  M.Sc. Zoology. Technical Assistant: One. Salary Rs. 10,000/  Consolidated Qualification:  B.Sc.  Biotechnology (First class).
Age:  35 years or below for men, 40 years or below for women (relaxation for SC/ST                     and other backwards as per rule)
Date and time  of interview: December 11, 2014 at 10.00 a.m.

Qualification	:	M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Agronomy/Soil Science/Horticulture OR M.Sc. Environmental Science /M.Sc. Chemistry
Desirable	:	M. Phil or Pass certificate in UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE, Experience in conducting field experiments, analysis of soil and plant samples, computer knowledge
Job description	:	Lay out and conduct of field experiments, analysis of soil and plant samples, estimation of soil quality, on farm technology validation, processing and tabulation of data
Upper age limit	:	Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 1.11.2014. Relaxation in age limit is admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules (at present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

·                  Essential: First class in M Sc Biotechnology

·                  Desirable: MPhil (Biotechnology) or Pass certificate in  

                          UGC/CSIR/NET or Kerala University Entrance for PhD
