Scale	:	Rs.16,000/-p.m + HRA
Qualification	:	M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Agronomy/Soil Science/Horticulture OR M.Sc. Environmental Science /M.Sc. Chemistry
Desirable	:	M. Phil or Pass certificate in UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE, Experience in conducting field experiments, analysis of soil and plant samples, computer knowledge
Job description	:	Lay out and conduct of field experiments, analysis of soil and plant samples, estimation of soil quality, on farm technology validation, processing and tabulation of data
Upper age limit	:	Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 1.11.2014. Relaxation in age limit is admissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules (at present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

Interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-Written Test cum Interview at Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 25 November 2014 at 10.00 a.m. along with their biodata (furnishing name, permanent address, photograph affixed, date of birth, qualification and experience) and attested copies of certificates. Original certificates should be produced at the time of interview.  No TA/DA shall be given for attending the interview.
