Note :  

1. 1.       For Post Nos. 1276 & 1277, M.E/M.Tech or equivalent qualification should be in First Class with minimum of 60% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification of Engineering degree/Post Graduate degree in Science should also be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks.
   2.       For Post No. 1278, M.Sc. degree should be in First Class with minimum of 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
   3.       For Post Nos. 1279 & 1280, B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification should be in First Class with minimum of 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
   4.       Rounding-off of marks not allowed.
   5.       The above vacancies do not fall under the points reserved for Persons with Disability.

General conditions/Instructions:

01.          The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.

03.          Age limit:            

No upper age limit for Post No.1275. For all other posts, upper age limit is 35 years as on 24.08.2015. Ex-Servicemen & Persons With Disability (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders. Minimum age limit is 18 years.

04.        Pay and Allowances: Approximate salary per month at the minimum of the Grade as on date is as follows:

05.          The Organisation has a progressive HRD policy and provides an excellent growth potential for the right individual through its periodical merit based performance review system (called Merit Promotion Scheme) de-linked from availability of higher post, by which the staff can be evaluated for the advancement of their career in the Organisation.

06.          The Organisation provides medical facilities (Contributory Health Service Scheme) for self and dependants, free transport facilities/transport allowance, subsidised canteen facilities, housing accommodation subject to availability, in addition to the facilities available to the other Central Government Staff.  The Centre has a well-maintained Central School and a well-stocked Library that provides an excellent opportunity for professional development.

07.          At present the place of posting is VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.

08.          Candidates will have to produce proof of the details furnished in their applications submitted on-line as and when required.

09.          The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Interview. Based on the online bio-data, initial screening will be conducted for shortlisting the candidates for further processing. The Centre may adopt the method of conducting written test for initial screening or may directly shortlist the candidates for interview by fixing a higher cut-off percentage for marks scored in the essential qualification course. Candidates called for Written Test/interview will have the option to answer the questions in Hindi also. Please note that this qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test/interview.If written test is opted for preliminary screening, the written test score will not reflect in the final selection process. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

10.          Outstation candidates called for Interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Rail Fare by the shortest route including reservation/sleeper charges on production of proof of journey such as Railway Tickets/Bus tickets etc. If the candidates travel in a higher class of accommodation than the one prescribed, only Second Class rail fare excluding the reservation charges/sleeper charges will be paid.

11.          The Organisation reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts, if it so decides.

12.          Only Indian Nationals need apply.

13.          No interim correspondence will be entertained.

14.          Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

 Payment of Application fee : There will be a non-refundable  application fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred & Fifty only) for each application. Fee is to be paid online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking or can be deposited in any State Bank of India branch (through SBI Collect facility). No other mode of payment will be acceptable and the fee will not be refundable under any circumstances. Female/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

HOW TO APPLY

Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. After submission, it is mandatory for the applicant to send the following documents by speed post without which online application will not be considered.

1.       A confirmatory copy of the online application.

2.       Self attested copies of all testimonials in proof of educational qualifications, experience, age, category, fee exemption etc.

3.       No Objection Certificate, from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies.

Guidelines to Fill the Online Application
STEP 1:  REGISTRATION
You would require your e-mail ID to register. You can register only once using this e-mail ID.
Click on the link "Apply ". Fill all the fields and click on the 'SUBMIT'  button. On successful registration, you will receive an e-mail with following details:

Then click on the link given in the e-mail to open your online application form. Check your SPAM/BULK MAIL folders if the mail is not seen in the INBOX.
STEP 2:  APPLICATION
Fill in all the information correctly and "SUBMIT". On Submission, you will have an opportunity to preview and confirm. Read all the details carefully. If any change is required, Click on "GO BACK".
To finally submit your application, click on "CONFIRM" button. On successful application, your registration number will be displayed on screen and an e-mail will be sent to you. Note down your Registration Number and keep in a safe place. This would be required for checking the status of your application in future.
STEP 3:  APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT (for non exempted categories only)
After making payment at the SB Collect Link, update the SB Collect Reference number in this site by clicking on "Add Payment Details"
