with registered office at Plot No. 1207, Near Siddhi Vinayak Temple,
Prabhadevi, Mumbai, engaged in the business of mining and processing of Beach
Sand Minerals, invites applications from BSc (Chemistry) Graduates for engagement of 2
(Two) Scientific Assistant Trainees (Un Reserved) for a
period of 1 year at our Rare Earths Division, Udyogamandal, Kochi-683501,
Kerala.
2. The
above engagement is being done with a broader objective to provide Industrial
exposure and on the Job Training to young unemployed Chemistry graduates with a
view to enhance their employability. Interested candidates may apply for the above engagement in the prescribed
proforma enclosed herein as Annexure-I. Details and other terms and conditions
of the engagement are given in the following paragraphs.
3. The
Terms and conditions of engagement as Scientific Assistant Trainee are as
under:
i)
Persons possessing Bachelors Degree in Chemistry [BSc
(Chemistry)] with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/ College/
Institution are eligible to apply for being engaged as Scientific Assistant
Trainee.
ii)
Age of the person engaged as Scientific Assistant
Trainee as on 18.2.2015 shall not exceed 30 years.
iii) The maximum duration of Training for Scientific Assistant Trainee shall
be for 1 year and on completion of 1 year, the period of Training shall come to
an end.
iv) A person engaged as Scientific Assistant Trainee shall be paid a
consolidated Stipend of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month and
subsidized canteen facility of Rare Earths Division, Udyogamandal.
v)
Only Indian Nationals can apply for the above
engagement.
vi) There shall be no application fee for applying for the
above engagement.
vii) The number of positions available for engagement as Scientific Assistant
Trainee is 2 (Two) (Un Reserved)
viii) The mode of selection of Trainees shall be solely based on the marks
scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination, which is BSc
(Chemistry). In case of tie between two candidates in marks, one who is higher
in age will be selected for engagement. Those who have passed BSc (Chemistry)
with minimum 60% marks are only eligible to apply. Final year BSc (Chemistry)
students whose results are awaited are not eligible to apply. Decision
of IREL Management regarding the selection shall be final. Further, IREL also
reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/ or the selection process
thereunder.
