The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K), was set up in 2000 by the Government of Kerala to be the state's premier institute in teaching and research in Information Technology and related disciplines. The Institute is currently accepting application from interested candidates for the following position in order to establish a Project Monitoring Unit for a large project.

1. Project Consultant (Systems) – one post

Essential Qualifications :

Post Graduate qualifications in Business Administration (Systems) / e-Governance / M. Tech (IT/Computer Science), MCA with at least first class marks from a recognized University.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 8 years experience n work in IT projects of which at least two years should be in e-Governance projects.

Responsibilities :

1. Conducting systems study, BPR exercises and guide in adoption of software engineering

processes and relevant standards.

2. Assist in preparation of project status reports

3. Assist in coordination with the implementing agency and other stakeholders.

4. The work will involve traveling to various project location in Kerala based on the requirement of

the project.

The Institute offers post graduate programmes using state-of-the-art IT support and infrastructure. The following temporary posts are required to support Land Resources Information System and Disease Spread Modeling Projects.

Project Associate (Geoinformatics) – One post.

Essential Qualifications: M.Tech in GIS\Geoinformatics\Spatial Information Technology/Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics) or PGDIT & MSc IT of IIITMK. The candidate should have analytical knowledge in commercial and open source GIS software with strong knowledge in Database Concepts and Good written & communication abilities. Minimum 5 years experience in the relevant area.

Web GIS - Application Developer – One post

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc.(IT) \ B.Tech (IT \ Computer Science), MCA. Strong familiarity with IT and system development concepts and techniques inclusive of Web application development methodologies / tools, programming languages. Experience in Core Java.
