WALK-IN-INTERVIEW 

C-MET invites young and talented persons with research aptitude to work as JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)/PROJECT ASSISTANT in one of its scientific projects sponsored by BRNS, Govt. of India.
Duration of the project : 36 month; upto 4th September, 2017.
Number of Posts: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 3 Nos.
 Project Assistant - 2 Nos.
Nature of the Post: Purely temporary and are project based
Qualifications : (a) JRF- M.Sc. degree in Physics or Materials Science with first  class/ 60% marks.
 (b) Project Assistant - Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with first class/ 60% marks
Age : Not exceeding 25 years as on 30.11.2014.
Emoluments : (a) For JRF : Consolidated pay of Rs. 16000/- per month  (b)For Project Assistant : Consolidated pay of Rs. 10000/- per  month
 Other Benefits : HRA 10% of Emoluments Nature of Work:
 This project involves development and Pilot scale production of microwave ceramics and composites for wireless communication application

General Terms and Conditions: 
1. The Post is purely temporary and appointment will initially be for one year and may be extended till the completion of the project.
2. On appointment, it will not confer any right on the appointee for claim for regular appointment.
3. Selected candidate will be required to produce a medical certificate of fitness in the prescribed form, from a Government Doctor not below the rank of Civil Surgeon and character certificates from two Gazetted Officers working in Central/State Government at the time of joining the post.
4. Selected candidate will be required to report for duty as mentioned in the offer (normally within 10 days from the date of offer) and no extension will be given.
5. Selected candidate will be required to work till the completion of the project and resigning from the post during the currency of the project period shall not normally be entertained.

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit should be 35 years for UR category, 38 years for OBC category and 40 years for SC category as on 03-09-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess first class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering./ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering for Post No.1, B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry for Post No.2, Graduation, Master’s degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or equivalent for Post No.3, Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education on NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate for Post No.4 and Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Post No.5.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test/ interview.
