Educational Qualification:

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - MFSc. in Fisheries Engineering and Technology/ MSc. in Industrial Fisheries/ Applied Fisheries and Aquaculture/ Aquatic Biology and Fisheries or Equivalent degree from recognized university with NET qualification.

2. Young Professionals - MFSc. in Fisheries Engineering and Technology/ MSc. in Industrial Fisheries/ Applied Fisheries and Aquaculture / Aquatic Biology and Fisheries or Equivalent degree from recognized university.

Age Limit: (As on 29.09.2018)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should below 35 years for men and 40 years for women.. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-interview with all relevant documents for the following positions of Project Fellows (on contract basis) to work for the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) funded by NAIF. The details are as follows:-

 

Senior Research Fellow - 1 Post

 

 

Fellowship	:	Rs.15,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Qualification	:	Should be a graduate/Diploma holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Desirable	:	Expertise in installation, operation and maintenance of food/ fish processing equipment/ machineries/ work experience in the field of food/ fish processing industry/Excellent computer, documentation and analytical skills/ managerial and co-ordination capacity as evidenced from fellowship/training/other engagement with valid proof.
Age	:	Not to exceed 35 years as on 01.04.2016.

 

   

Terms & Conditions:

 

 

1. Above position is purely temporary & time bound and may be terminated by the Competent Authority without assigning any reason.
2. Registration will begin at 9.00 am and closed at 11.00 am.
3. Candidate should bring detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph and required self attested copies of all the certificates.
4. Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidate.
5. Place of work will be at Cochin.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
7. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
8. The Directors decision will be final and binding in all aspects regarding the selection to the post.

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-Interview with all relevant documents for the position of  one Project Assistant (on contractual basis) to work in the project “ Genetic Diversity of Clostridium in seafood and Development of Lateral Flow Immuno Assay (LFIA) for toxino typing” funded by Department of Biotechnology Technology.  The engagement of Project Assistant  will be up to  1/2017 / co-terminus with the scheme. 

Project Assistant 

Fellowship	:	Rs.8000/- p.m (consolidated)
Qualification	:	Master degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology /B.Tech in Biotechnology
Desirable	:	Excellent analytical skills in Bioinformatics and computer documentation
Age	:	Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview

Terms & Conditions:

1. Registration will begin at 8.30 a.m and will close at 10.30 am 
2. Age relaxation of 3 years  for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible. 
3. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims    regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc.  The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview. 
4. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data (in the enclosed format)  affixing a recent passport size photograph.
5. The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under DST norms.  The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
