Earth System Sciences Organisation (ESSO), National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) invites ONLINE applications for 01(One) post of Scientist – C (Civil) in Pay Band–3 Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- on Direct Recruitment basis at National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai. The qualifications and Job requirements are as under :

Scientist – C (Civil Engineering)	01	Essential:- (1) Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Ocean Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast First Class (60% marks). (2) Three years experience in Research and Development, Survey, Planning, etc. Desirable:- Master’s degree in Civil / Structural / Ocean Engineering or its equivalent.	Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-	Below 40 years. (Relaxable as per orders issued by Central Government from time to time.)
